PHP & JavaScript: Mid to Senior Level

The Role

Write expert level JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Identify and address performance bottlenecks
Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
Expert debugging in all modern browsers
Build efficient and reusable Front End abstractions
Participate in design and code reviews
Work and communicate effectively in a team
Basic Git commands: commit, push, etc.

The Candidate

You will be making, updating and maintaining existing apps. You'll need an eye for design, an understanding for building complex apps and websites. Working with designers and developers, you will be making cool things for the web! You should be confident to bring your ideas to the table to make them work with new and existing projects.

You will need to have experience developing using the following technologies and skills:

OOP PHP (Laravel or knowledge of another modern PHP framework is required)
HTML5
CSS3 (SASS or LESS is a must)
JavaScript (jQuery and Angular or other similar JavaScript libraries or frameworks)
Web animation with JavaScript and SVG
PhoneGap for iOS and Android apps
MySQL
Database architecture
Linux (Ubuntu)
Apache or Nginx
Content Management Systems (WordPress or another CMS)
Experience developing in a Mac environment
Adobe design products (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Unix commands (ls, cd, grep, etc.)

New Business Development

Finer Vision is a diverse digital marketing agency, based in the heart of London between London Bridge and Charing Cross.

They work with some of the most recognisable brands in the UK and Globally. Their office is centrally located in London with a laid back but focussed culture.

Position Summary: Responsible for selling digital media, maintaining and servicing existing accounts, increasing share from existing clients as well as generating new business. Working with senior management, you will also be responsible for refining our digital sales strategy with an increased focus on brand building, exceeding client expectations, and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to:

Lead efforts to create a successful sales strategy that leverages Ethnic Online Network's assets to achieve client-marketing objectives and consistently exceed revenue targets.
The right candidate must be experienced at prospecting, cold calling when necessary, presenting, and closing.
Work with internal teams to create and package digital programs and opportunities that exceed client objectives.
Manage existing client and agency relationships.
Attend relevant industry events when needed.

Job Qualifications:

A background in digital ad sales.
Strong understanding of the Internet sales and media planning process.
Demonstrated expertise building and nurturing client and agency partnerships.
A passion for all things digital. The role requires an enthusiastic and hard working person who thrives in a team environment..
Must have a book of business and relationships with agencies.
Experience in selling integrated web plus mobile advertising solutions a big plus.
Experience in selling newsletters and sponsored email campaigns a big plus.
Familiarity with ad servers and reporting a big plus.
Proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint for creating presentations.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
